Welcome to La Caminada Vielha, or “the old presbytery” in Occitan. Nestled in the small village of Montaillou at 1,300 meters above sea level, our guesthouse has always been a place of warm welcome, formerly a presbytery and later a holiday camp under the name Les Joyeux Boutons d’Or. We strive to create an authentic and friendly atmosphere, where each stay becomes a personal and relaxing experience. With our little touches and attention to detail, you can fully enjoy your well-deserved getaway.

We love sharing the simple pleasures of life: enriching encounters, stunning landscapes, hikes in the Pyrenees, outdoor activities, as well as homemade cuisine prepared with local and fair-trade products. Depending on the season, enjoy skiing in winter or hiking and nature escapes in summer. With our comfortable rooms and their breathtaking views, La Caminada Vielha is the perfect starting point for exploring the Pyrenees and the Cathar heritage along the Chemin des Bonhommes.
